Cut bread loaf in half lengthwise. Place halves side by side, crust side down on a large baking sheet lined with foil.
Add about a tablespoon of cooking oil to a medium to large skillet. Add diced green bell pepper and sauté over medium heat for about 3 minutes until they start to soften. Remove peppers and set aside.
Add ground beef to skillet and fully cook until meat is browned and no pink is left. Drain if necessary. Pour Chili’s® Baby Back BBQ Sloppy Joe Sauce into meat and simmer for 5 minutes until heated through thoroughly, stirring occasionally.
Spread meat mixture evenly on top of bread halves. Top with desired amount of pepperoni slices and optional tomato slices. Sprinkle with cheese and top with bell pepper.
Bake for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove from oven when done and let cool for a few minutes before cutting loaves into slices.
