Honey-Chipotle Salmon Burgers

Turn up the heat with these spicy honey-chipotle salmon burgers. They’re easy to make and healthier for you too!


Salmon Burgers:

  • 1 lb skinless salmon fillet
  • 1 package of Chili’s® Honey-Chipotle Burger Mix-In Sauce
  • ½ cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • alfalfa sprouts (optional)
  • hamburger buns


  • 2 cups of shredded coleslaw mix (available in the produce section)
  • 2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 jalapeño pepper seeded and minced


  1. Mince salmon by hand or in a food processer. In a bowl, combine with Chili’s® Honey-Chipotle Burger Mix-In Sauce and breadcrumbs.
  2. Form into 3 large or 4 small patties.
  3. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise with lemon juice and jalapeño. Add the coleslaw mix and toss well.
  4. Heat a grill pan or grill to medium high. Cook for 4 minutes on each side until burgers are thoroughly cooked (internal temperature of 145º F) and center feels slightly firm. Be careful not to overcook or burgers will be dry.
  5. Serve on toasted buns with sliced avocado, coleslaw and sprouts if desired.
