Chili Dog Tacos

For a new twist on chili dogs, forget the bun and serve them in crunchy taco shells. Chili’s® Starter Sauce makes it easy to cook up a batch of All-American chili.


  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 package of Chili’s® All-American Chili Starter Sauce
  • 1 can (14.5oz) of petite diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (15 oz) red kidney beans, drained
  • 1 package of hot dogs
  • 1 package crunchy taco shells
  • ½ onion, diced
  • grated cheese


  1. Fully cook ground beef in a large nonstick skillet or pot at medium-high temperature. Drain grease if needed.
  2. Stir in Chili’s® All-American Chili Starter Sauce, petite diced tomatoes, and drained kidney beans. Bring to a brief boil and then simmer for 8–10 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. Fully cook hotdogs according to package directions.
  4. Place one cooked hotdog into each taco shell and top with chili, cheese and onion. Serve immediately.
